Megan & Mo’s Day 2 | Willow Lodge Wedding | Woodinville, Wa Wedding Photographer
As we headed in to the second day the mood was light and calm and laid back. We found a little spot away from all the crowds to keep it intimate and special to just them Megan’s dress was a low backed Mermaid with a fun flirty bottom. As Megan headed up the stairs to where Mo was waiting with is back turned she placed her had on his shoulder as he turned around his eyes lit up with happiness to see his beautiful bride. They spent some time alone to just take in the moment of everything this week had brought they were now partners in this wonderful thing we call Life.
Making our own Tribe | The Lookout Lodge Engagement Session | Snohomish WA Wedding Photographer
We got lucky for their engagement session we had a lot of rain that week so we were all worried that we might get rained out. But as driving out to The Lookout Lodge the sun was perfectly sitting shinning in all its glory.
When planning a wedding we start building our tribe. We start putting together the people who bring us up and support us. Carmen and Heidi are doing exactly that building their tribe, When these two first meet in Kansas they became very fast Friends and who knew that nearly 2 years later they would be planning their wedding. With the blending of two diverse backgrounds it was so great to incorporate both flags that showed the background they both were bringing to this blended relationship.
Rainy Engagement Session | Deception Pass Park Engagement Session | Anacortes, Wa Wedding Photographer
It takes a special type of couple to Do their engagement photo’s in the rain, to just be pure and vulnerable. Sarah and Eric they have that pureness that love outside the lines, as we started their session we had some moments the rain held off. We walk down to the beach stopping and getting some pictures on the way down and exploring the beauty of not just the joy of the beginning of their lives as they come together also the views that we have all around us in Washington.
Down on the beach we got a few moments before it started to pour most of the time couples will get upset and we try to hold out in hopes it might stop after a few, But to our surprise the most beautiful thing happen as the sky’s gave us everything it had. Sarah and Eric kissed and embraced and the pureness and the rawness showed through, what could have been a horrible engagement session turned into one of the best of Fall in the Pacific Northwest.

Kylie & David | Lord Hill Park Engagement Session | Snohomish Enagement Photographer
Kylie and David entered our drawing when we meet at last years Snohomish Wedding tour, From the time we meet I knew we would be a great fit and when they where selected as the winners of our 4 hour of wedding coverage we knew we where both in for such a treat. Kylie and David were unsure where to take their engagement photo’s I suggested Lord Hill Park. We had scheduled then in the fall and they wanted to find a location to show all the color’s the PNW has in our fall months.
We are excited to be apart of their Summer wedding in August 2018 at the Kitsap Memorial Park.
Such a fun session I was contacted by Grooms mom weeks before the date to get everything set up, Bryce is a hometown guy bringing his Kansas Sweet heart home to introduce her to family and our beautiful area.
Bryce picked the Space Needle for the perfect Proposal location we set up a surprise Engagement session for the following day, so Kelsie was getting a double treat.
Wanting to find the perfect location dat brought some of the newly engaged Kelsie’s hometown charm to the Session me reached out to Dairyland one of my favorite Snohomish Wedding venues. Dairyland is a renovated Dairy farm dat was perfect for this small town girls heart.
Love the rustic white wash paint the the Barn doors, makes the perfect background for any shoot.

IN A GALAXY FAR FAR AWAY | NATALY & MARTY | DECEPTION PASS ENGAGEMENT SESSION
This session left me in aw!
Would you have believed the groom brook his ankle 2 days before this session!
Nataly & Marty wanted some calm before the store to kickoff there Week of wedding, They were are out of state couple who reside in Las Vegas gong to collage. So we have to put everything together with in the week so a session with stolen kisses watching the sunset was a perfect excuse to capture the moments that make up they way they enjoy to spend the time they get to breath the fresh air.
How did Marty and Nataly Meet? (told by Nataly) :
We meet in the airport in Costa Rico on the 1st day of their Semester abroad when Nataly attempted to translate for him not knowing that he spoke fluent Spanish.
Favorite Activity to do as a couple: Eatting to much food and playing magic & watching netflix
If I could describe marty and my relationship in one word it would be “Friendship” We have been through everything together and we help mold one another.
How did he propose?
(The first time he proposed was in front of customer service desk at Target. Sounds weird but I love Target ! He had come to visit me in California and had created a scavenger hunt for “My Birthday” little did I know he was actually going to propose!
The second time he proposed we where at Magic Kingdom in Disney World. He had come to visit me during my internship in my collage program.
The Photo pass cast member offered to take free engagement photo session for us in front of Cinderella’s Castle (My favorite Princess) He got down on one knee and proposed all over again in front of a bunch of screaming Cheerleaders. It was amazing and something I will alway’s remember. Our Family was all so excited and couldn’t wait to see what fun plan’s we would make next.
I love B&W images the focus on the intimate nature and what a better location then the Deception Pass Bridge
There is always a lot of laugh on our engagement sessions.
Love the giggle from Nataly because Marty broke his foot just two days before and he’s holding his breathe trying to keep steady on the bridge.
