There’s something magical about the beach at golden hour, and Howarth Park in Everett gave us the perfect setting for this sweet engagement session. With the waves gently rolling in, the sun dipping low, and love in the air, this session was filled with quiet moments, playful laughter, and all the anticipation that comes with planning forever.
This couple was an absolute joy to photograph—natural, affectionate, and completely at ease in front of the camera. They walked hand-in-hand along the shoreline, paused under the tall, windswept trees, and even kicked off their shoes to feel the sand between their toes. The whole session felt relaxed and organic, like a slow Sunday stroll with your best friend, which, of course, is exactly what love should feel like.
The soft pastel tones of the sky and the salty breeze off the water brought a romantic vibe to every frame. Whether they were wrapped in a quiet hug or laughing mid-spin, their connection was so easy to capture because it’s so real. These are the moments they’ll look back on and remember as the beautiful beginning of something big.
Next year, they’ll say “I do” at the stunning Carey Gardens in Snohomish, WA—a lush, romantic venue with blooming gardens and countryside charm. I already can’t wait to document that day. If their wedding is anything like this engagement session, it’s going to be heartfelt, joyful, and full of genuine love.

Engagement sessions are such a beautiful way to celebrate this in-between chapter—no rush, no pressure, just love. And this session at Howarth Park was the perfect reminder of why I love doing what I do.
