We got luck with a beautiful day at Scenic Beach State Park documeting Paige and Will's engagement photo. I feel in love with the rich color of the trees and the light beeze that moved along the beach. We loved the idea of keeping with the simple theme of small and simple for their Intimate Port Gamble Pavilion wedding in July.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
We were presented true PNW weather for Ayla and Davids engagement session it not only rained it poured as we ventured over the very already slippery log bride across a part of the falls. I feel thankful that we didn’t fall because that would have been a fun walk back to the car.

Snohomish Indian Wedding With Megan and Mo
This wedding goes down in the books for me as a 1st and last experience. 1st time doing an Indian Wedding and the last wedding to ever be held at the Snohomish Event center was a joyful day yet very sad to see it close its doors as a wedding venue after this October 2017 wedding.
When We meet with Megan and Mo about being their wedding photographer we were not only excited because they are an amazing couple with a great story of their relationship and are adventurous and love to write their own story but they are also a word of mouth couple, we had worked with Megan 2 years prior when she was a bridesmaid for another couple. We were so excited to be apart of their beginning to their journey as a married couple.
The day began like all of our weddings with getting ready and a tiny bit of nervousness the feel was playful yet serious because we had a lot of traditions we had to follow to make this day a special Hindu Wedding.
Megan wear her beautiful Burgundy Bridal Lehenga with all the traditional jewellery.. Mohit Wore traditional Wedding Sherwanis. we placed them at the bottom of the steps for a 1st look. Megan walked up behind Mohit and placed her henna hands over his eyes before he turned around to see her the moment was beautiful and it built to the excitement of the day.

After everyone was dressed the Next Tradition was under way the Baraat
Baraat (Hindi: बरात) (Urdu: برات) is a groom’s wedding procession in North India, West India and Pakistan. In North Indian communities, it is customary for the bridegroom to travel to the wedding venue (often the bride’s house) on a mare, accompanied by his family members.
