This adorable Valentine-themed cake smash was all about love, laughter, and a whole lot of frosting fun — and our downtown Everett photo studio was the perfect place to celebrate this sweet milestone in style.
With a festive heart-shaped air balloon backdrop setting the mood, this one-year-old’s session was full of pinks, reds, and the kind of joy only a baby digging into cake for the first time can bring!
The Set & Styling
For this session, we went full Valentine’s magic — think floating heart balloons, a soft white floor setup, and hints of sparkle throughout. The birthday girl wore the cutest pink romper with a little red bow, and let’s just say… she owned the set from the moment she arrived.
The centerpiece? A perfectly sized smash cake topped with tiny hearts and swirls of buttercream just waiting for little hands to dig in. The entire look was playful, sweet, and full of that first-birthday magic we live for.
The Smash
At first, she was curious. Then came the smiles. And then — both hands right into the cake! Frosting on fingers, toes, and cheeks, with giggles echoing through the studio. The expressions were priceless: from surprise to satisfaction and everything in between.
Every click of the camera caught another adorable moment, from heart-melting eye contact to those messy, frosting-covered grins we all adore.
