There’s something extra special about sessions that blend multiple meaningful themes into one beautiful story—and Poppy’s newborn session was exactly that. Held in my cozy downtown Everett studio on Hewitt Ave, this session brought together warm fall colors, soft boho textures, and just the sweetest touch of Halloween charm.

Poppy was an absolute dream. She slept so peacefully through her setups, perfectly nestled among rich autumn tones, textured layers, and delicate seasonal details. One of my favorite looks featured her in the most adorable pumpkin outfit, surrounded by a thoughtfully styled arrangement of florals, mini pumpkins, and earthy accents that tied everything together in a soft, organic way.

Her 1.5-year-old big sister added the most heart-melting moments to the session. At that age, you never quite know what to expect—but she brought so much personality and curiosity. Watching her peek at her new baby sister, snuggle in with mom and dad, and explore the studio created such genuine, joy-filled images. Those in-between moments are always the ones families treasure most.

Mom and Dad were so relaxed and present, which really set the tone for the entire session. We leaned into a natural, connection-focused approach—capturing cuddles, soft smiles, and those quiet little glances that say everything without words. Paired with the warm, moody fall palette and boho-inspired styling, the final gallery feels both timeless and full of personality.

The subtle Halloween touches gave the session a playful twist without overpowering the softness of newborn imagery. Think muted blacks, creamy whites, warm oranges, and natural textures—all layered together to create a cohesive and elevated look.
