Turning 15 is such a special milestone, and Tanya’s birthday portrait session was the perfect way to celebrate this exciting season of life. We created a fun and modern studio setup in my Downtown Everett Studio filled with bright pops of color, metallic details, and a playful party-inspired vibe that matched Tanya’s personality beautifully.

For the backdrop, we used a silver disco shimmer wall paired with a colorful balloon installation featuring pink, blue, black, silver, and gold tones. The combination created such a bold and energetic look while still feeling elegant and stylish. The reflective silver backdrop added just the right amount of sparkle and made the entire session feel like a celebration from start to finish.

Tanya looked absolutely stunning in her sparkly pink dress featuring a front slit that added a fashionable and glamorous touch to her portraits. The soft blush color worked perfectly against the bright balloons and metallic backdrop, helping her stand out while still keeping the overall look cohesive and fun. Her confidence truly shone during the session, and she brought such a natural smile and elegance to every pose.

One of my favorite things about birthday portrait sessions is allowing teens to feel celebrated and confident while capturing this important chapter in their lives.
