"4-week-old baby boy named Camden sleeping peacefully in a wooden bucket, dressed in a green ribbed outfit with plaid accents and matching hat, surrounded by soft greenery and cozy textures in a downtown Everett photo studio."

There’s something incredibly special about photographing a slightly older newborn — the tiny expressions, the little stretches, and those early glimpses of personality just starting to shine through. Baby Camden was a sweet 4 weeks old when he came into my downtown Everett studio, and he completely melted our hearts.

Styled in a cozy, ribbed green outfit with plaid accents and a matching hat, Camden was snug as can be in a warm wood-toned setup. We kept the palette earthy and rustic, with deep greens, warm browns, and soft textures to complement his peaceful presence. He snoozed soundly in a round wooden bucket, nestled in cozy layers and surrounded by soft greenery, making every frame feel like a perfect blend of nature and comfort.

At this stage, Camden still had all the squishy goodness of a newborn, but with just enough alertness to catch a few sweet expressions between naps. These moments — the half smiles, the stretching fingers, the gentle flutter of lashes — are the magic of photographing babies past those first few days.

My Everett studio is designed to be peaceful and welcoming for babies of all ages, with natural textures, soft lighting, and a calm atmosphere where parents can relax and take it all in. Sessions like Camden’s are a reminder that beautiful newborn photos don’t have to happen in the first 10 days — every stage of babyhood is worth celebrating.

✨ If you’ve recently welcomed a little one or have a baby on the way, I’d love to help you capture these fleeting, tender days. Let’s make something beautiful together.
